Through a spiritual story of self discovery, CRYPTYQUES bring emotions and sentiment to demonstrate that NFTs can emotionally connect with people. Using movies from Hong Kong’s rich cinematic history, CRYPTYQUES explores the contrasts and conflicts of a human experience through three acts: Past, Present, and Future. By going back in time to collect memories, one begins to reconcile the past with the present, and pave the road to the future.
CRYPTYQUES is helmed by the renowned Hong Kong photography and cinema figure, Wing Shya, whose oeuvre is famed for his cinematic approach of raw-colored poignancy coming from movies including In The Mood For Love and Happy Together. Led by Wing Shya's artistic vision of the CRYPTYQUES universe, the NFTs contain classic cinema moments that have been recreated using 3D technology by an internationally-acclaimed Hollywood production team.
